Authentic Friuli-Venezia Giulia Wines

Franc Lizêr is a dealcoholized wine that pays homage to the joy of celebrating life respecting the winemaking tradition of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a northeastern Italian region with a terroir particularly suited to grape growing and very well known for its outstanding wines.
Franc Lizêr means ‘free’ and ‘light’ in the Friulian language, and reflects the soul of our wines, the result of a careful selection in the vineyard and quality work in the cellar.
Franc Lizêr is the elegant alternative for those who want to toast without drinking alcohol, with the guarantee of constant attention during every stage of the production. From the vineyard to the cellar.

Franc Lizêr offers wines that make it possible for everybody to pop a bottle of high quality spumante.
Today, the range offers two dealcoholized sparkling wines made from carefully selected indigenous Friuli-Venezia Giulia grapes: a Rosé and a Blanc de Blancs dedicated to those who wish to enjoy wine without assuming alcohol.
Without alcohol, all the pleasure of an excellent wine remains.

Sustainability

Respect for the environment, organic farming and preserving health: these are our choices, from the vineyard to the cellar. Saving energy is pursued thanks to our solar panels, with whom we produce most of our energy demand, helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
To avoid any waste of water, we use an underground irrigation system, which allows us to provide water only when needed after assessing the water stress of the vines. We do not use toxic pesticides and fertilizers, we have reduced the use of copper and banned glyphosates and all harmful chemicals.
We attract into the vineyards beneficial insects that antagonize parasites, we use GPS technology to monitor the vigor of the vines in the various areas in order to manage differentiated fertilization and harvesting. Drones and satellites support us in the study of soil geomorphology; GPS- equipped self-driving tractors help us to fertilize the soil and defoliate the vines.
